The International Mead Festival is coming on February 10-11, 2006 in Boulder Colorado. The International Mead Festival (an event through the International Mead Association) is the worlds' largest and most prestigious mead competition and festival. This event hosts both a public tasting of commercial meads and a private judging of commercial and now home made mead, entries. This will be the first year that home brewed meads will be judged in a private tasting. I won't be there this year but am trying to plan a trip for next year.
