Marvel's Q2 earnings reports contains a forward-looking projection of current and upcoming movie, TV and animation projects.

A partial list of film projects reveals few surprises:

  • Iron Man - Completed principal photography; May 2, 2008 release
  • The Incredible Hulk - Commenced principal photography; June 13, 2008 release
  • Ant-Man - Writer and director engaged
  • Captain America - Writer engaged
  • Nick Fury - Writer engaged
  • Thor - Writer engaged
  • The Avengers - Writer engaged

Likewise, the TV animation schedule looks pretty familiar, although new details of an 'Iron Man' toon are revealed.

  • Fantastic Four - 26, 30 minute episodes;
  • Spider-Man - In development;
  • Wolverine and the X-Men - 26, 30 minute episodes in development
  • Iron Man - 26, 30 minute episodes in development

The big surprise is the new 'Hulk' animated movie coming from the direct-to-DVD line:

  • Doctor Strange - August 14, 2007 release
  • Teen Avengers - Targeted July 2008 release
  • Hulk Smash - Targeted October 2008 release
