Marvel's Q2 earnings reports contains a forward-looking projection of current and upcoming movie, TV and animation projects.
A partial list of film projects reveals few surprises:
- Iron Man - Completed principal photography; May 2, 2008 release
- The Incredible Hulk - Commenced principal photography; June 13, 2008 release
- Ant-Man - Writer and director engaged
- Captain America - Writer engaged
- Nick Fury - Writer engaged
- Thor - Writer engaged
- The Avengers - Writer engaged
Likewise, the TV animation schedule looks pretty familiar, although new details of an 'Iron Man' toon are revealed.
- Fantastic Four - 26, 30 minute episodes;
- Spider-Man - In development;
- Wolverine and the X-Men - 26, 30 minute episodes in development
- Iron Man - 26, 30 minute episodes in development
The big surprise is the new 'Hulk' animated movie coming from the direct-to-DVD line:
- Doctor Strange - August 14, 2007 release
- Teen Avengers - Targeted July 2008 release
- Hulk Smash - Targeted October 2008 release
